I remember the first time I saw this, and after I got over the shock, I was impressed with his discipline to actually put on a performance like that. Not that this is anything but dated by today's standards, but then again you seldom ever see anyone sing anything live anymore, especially while they're in the midst of a choreographed dance. It's an odd piece for sure, but it does make me appreciate the many talents he never seem to get to utilize much when that kind of thing was in vogue during the 60's and 70's.
