Never watched this as a kid, the opening was too scary!

Begged my parents to watch it even though my entire Doctor Strange experience was a single panel cameo in a treasury edition.

I think Stan Lee had instructed everyone to watch it in a soapbox column and I always did what he said.

The viewing was ackward and I never gained an appreciation for the character, not a big wizard kind of guy...

Well, there's a lunch-break (plus a little) later on this week. I watched this one time on a Saturday TV matinee on Channel 19 out of Cincinnati way back in the mid-80s. I remember thinking it wasn't bad, but I had no huge love for Dr. Strange, so expectations were low.
