Well if you have not seen the clip than you will not. WB stated that this clip was for the SDCC only and they would not release it on youtube. Really it only showed the two of them starring down each other. So all you really need are the screen captures to get the idea.

how awesome would that movie be? First time I watched this the line Hope starts with an H dumbass killed me.

Yeah, that one had me rolling, lol.

Batman definitely steals the scenes there, funny stuff.

My point wasn't that I'm a better filmmaker than Zac Snyder. I am not.

I can understand why people are excited. It's wish fulfillment. But beyond finally pairing the two titans together, nothing in that teaser struck me as master filmmaking, or moderately surprising.

What I meant was that this interpretation of Batman v. Superman is nothing innovative. The SDCC fanboys all wet their pants over a really dark screen filled with Batman and Superman saying nothing to each other. Honestly, I loved Miller's concept back in the late '80s. But if I want to go back to that, I'll pull the graphic novel off the shelf. But 30 years later, I'm ready for a new take on this character. It really has grown tiresome.

Again, my post was a generalization...not specifically aimed at you.

But I'm excited, you are not, let's just agree to disagree.

^Yeah, you can't deny Snyder knows how to VISUALLY construct a film. The visuals are stunning. The content is sometimes a bit lacking, or too dark for my tastes, but he's got chops.

Give me, you, or any 12 year old a camera and crew, and we would've all yielded something just as good, if not better.

I highly doubt that.

Not a shot at you...but I took filmmaking back at SF State (August Coppola was the dean at the time)...and I can tell you from experience...everyone there (including me)...thought we were all Martin Scorsese...when the sad reality was...NONE of us were...is that one lone talent that comes out shinning out of the herd of wannabees, that could potentially be a good filmmaker. And yes...luck is part of it too.
