I was kinda hoping Routh for Shazam, but that might have been confusing. I don't know who they get for that, maybe Rock? Anyway, I will have to see if Arrow is on netflix and do some binge episodes to catch up since the general consensus here is it's a great show.

I REALLY need to get to those Arrow Season 2 episodes on the DVR. I got WAY off track at the beginning of this season.

Between Superman Returns, Scott Pilgrim, Dylan Dog and now The Atom, he's at least made sure that he's a draw on the comics convention circuit for the rest of his career.

My wife was watching a new Hallmark Channel movie the other day that Routh stars in. I like Routh too, but going from playing Superman in a major motion picture to the Hallmark channel (while still in his prime) is probably not the career trajectory he was hoping for.

Cain is a regular on Hallmark Channel, it seems.

Sure, Routh isn't making blockbuster movies, but he was pulled from obscurity for Superman Returns, so I don't think he had a huge career in front of him otherwise. I do think he got the shaft, not able to play Superman wholly as his own, and saddled with a questionable story...because otherwise, I liked him.

I hope this Palmer thing works out, and we get an Atom spin-off series for him to hang his hat on.

Routh's doing a nice job on Arrow, and for a Hallmark movie, the one he's in isn't that bad. I'm not suggesting anyone sit through it if you don't have to, but I've had to sit through worse.

Agreed, and it helps if you're a cat lover. That girlfriend of his was worse than Lex Luthor!
