well, crap. Disc one in my set is defective. It won't load after I got into the Penguin episode. Glad I got it at Walmart.com instead of Amazon. Also, looks like the UV codes only work online and not thru streaming on tv. Double crap. I can watch them at flixster and M-Go's websites but not on the roku. It shows them in the UV library, but lists them as unavailable. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. No problem my friend. When you told us you had contributed to this box set, I was excited to find it in the special features section. When I saw the magnetic Mego commercial, I smiled. It's so very cool you were part of such a significant event for so many of us. Very fitting.Comment

This morning, I happened to come across an infomercial for this box-set hosted by Adam West. It was very well done, too!
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

That's what I'm hoping for. I traded away my old copy but there's a big difference between $25 and $175. I'll be happy to pick it up when the prices meet in the middle.Comment

Or it could triple in value like the Monster Squad TV Show dvds. I have the bootlegs too and when the kids woke me up this morning at 7 am wanting breakfast they couldn't find cartoons they wanted to see. Then my son asked for the Old Batman discs. I think they watched 3 hours this morning lol.sigpicComment

I'm really enjoying this, what a blast from the past!
I was too young when the show originally aired to remember it, but watched it religiously via syndication on WPGH-53 (a cable network out of Pittsburgh) in my formative years in the early-mid 70's. The after-school lineup on that channel was great, and included Speed Racer and The Horrible House of Frightenstein as well. Small wonder that I was always late in finishing my homework!
One thing I never noticed at the time was the constant re-use of the same footage of Batman and Robin emerging from the Batpoles, jumping into the Batmobile and exiting the Batcave, and arriving at police headquarters right after the intro theme. How did I never notice the same people were always walking past police headquarters, LOL !Comment

One thing I've NEVER noticed before was how the Bat-symbol was mounted on the doors of the Batmobile. I always thought it was a decal, but in at least one shot, on this particular copy of the car, the symbol looks like a very thin metal, mounted to the door with two screws or pins. I think this was in the Joker episode with the UFO.
