I would have been glued to my TV set as a kid, seeing this. Spiderman, Spidercar, Mecha Giant Robot fighting monsters. non stop fighting action. Who cares if it's not Peter Parker...this would have been great on weekdays after school.

Thanks for posting that. It'll never happen, but I'd love to see a DVD release of this with subtitles.

I've probably told this story a million times... I used to watch this as a kid while visiting my grandparents in Hong Kong (along with Gatchaman Fighter). I'd come home and tell all the other kids about this awesome Spider-Man TV show where he had a Giant transforming robot and a car, and fought Godzilla type monsters. They all thought I was lying! (or confusing Electric Company or the live action North American show).

I loved these show. Even Stan Lee was trying to get this imported to America, but no channel would pick it up at that time. These is years before we had many channels to watch.

I just watched this and...WOW. It's like Spider-Man from another dimension. Gonzo as all get out, but I really dug it! Thanks for sharing!

That would suck, but could you really blame them? The world was a vaster, unknown place back then, not like the connected, globalized society we live in today. You had the unique and rare opportunity to see what was happening on the other side of the world, while the rest of us poor saps were completely clueless. I envy that!

I think that Marvel was streaming subbed episodes of this show on their website several years back. I remember watching a bunch of them then, happy to finally see them subbed.
