watched the leaked episode last night ,i enjoyed it ,could go either way i reckon ,,i could see John as the next big thing on the cos-play comic convention circuit ,that northern British don't give a s++t bad boy attitude could play either way in the states, and maybe give Dr who a run for his money as the USA favourite TV Brit lol

Wow, that looks awesome or as awesome as it could be on NBC.. I was always a huge fan of HellBlazer comicbook, I own the full run. He does have a kind of David Tennant kind timing going on, which I do not find a bad thing. I will diffentantly give this a watch in the Fall

right behind Fate's helmet is the Ibis stick or wand or whatever its called. The triangle thing with the bird on it.

I'm really looking forward to this show. I LOVED the Keanu Reeves movie...but then again, I have nothing to compare it to having never read the comic book.

This new TV show should please the comic fans I guess, now that he's back to being blonde and British. I read a comment from the Director who thinks it's strange that they are going to let him make the show super "dark and scary"...but Constantine can't smoke cigarettes. Ah...American Political correctness at work.

Well I have finally been able to watch the pilot and I must say I enjoyed it. They set up the long range goal in the episode. Now I have to start getting the TPB so I can figure out if the characters come from the comics or are made up.

What I like is they even have a "base" in the pilot:

House of Aberdine

Now I am not sure but that green skull does look like Swamp Thing.
