Sooooo many but one that stands out in my mind is the Superman/Ali tabloid comic cover.

This one has special meaning for me. It was the first "adult" comic I ever bought. I think I was 12. It did infact give me bad dreams after reading it.

I think it was last year IDW did a homage to it with Transformers that I thought was awesome.

I'm also patial to the tabloid edition Superfriends cover. I still have mine from my childhood. Ben's WGSH postcard pays homage to it to boot.

Hey, how come we all refer to that costume as "Disco Nightwing" when disco was long dead by the time that costume debuted...? Just a thought.
