"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix -

then how would you do a big green monster guy so it doesn't look like Lou in body paint? The Ang Lee movie stunk it up and probably muddied the waters for Edward Norton version even tho it outsold the Lee one. I really like the Avengers take on him and Mark Ruffalo did a great job stepping into the Banner/Hulk role. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

^i agree. really enjoyed hulk in Avengers and Ruffalo's portrayal. I'd like to see another solo film, maybe directed by Whedon some day. I really liked the Jarella storyline. The hulk story from a few years back when he was stranded on a gladiatorial planet was basically an update of that story. Wouldn't mind seeing either adapted.
But what I'd really like to see is a Hulk vs. The Fantastic Four flick. I'd love a good ol' Hulk-Thing fight. It'll never happen, but it's what I'd love to see.Last edited by madmarva; May 31, '14, 1:28 PM.Comment

The Avengers Hulk looked like a Ruffalo/Banner hulked out, but also looked like the classic Kirbyesque Hulk come to (almost) life. I think it worked very well, where as the Ang Lee blubbery version did not. Norton's Hulk worked within the film, but his design was too...pretty boy. He had a handsome face on huge roided, veiny body. The Avengers got it just right.

Perhaps Thanos will work, the CGI version will be a guest supporting character, so it's cool.
Same applies to the CGI Silver Surfer...it was BY FAR...the best thing about those lame FF movies...but I don't think that Surfer would work in a stand alone SS movie...I'd rather see an actual person colored silver.sigpicComment

I guess I'm being a purist...perhaps the Avengers version of the Hulk could work in a stand alone movie...it was a superior CGI work than the previous Hulk flicks.
I hear the new Thing in the upcoming FF film is going to be CGI...I'll compare it to the costumed one of the previous movies, that one looked really good, although he was kinda on the smallish side.sigpicComment
