Too bad Anna Paquin's Rogue only had such a small cameo. If this "spoiler" rumour was true, I think it would have been much more fitting for Rogue to be Wolverine's final "anchor".
Late last year, director Bryan Singer stated that Anna Paquin’s one major scene as Rogue in X-Men: Days of Future Past had been cut from the film. In the final trailer for the film, Paquin’s name was included in the credits, which raised some eyebrows. A representative from Twentieth Century Fox confirmed that Paquin’s Rogue […]

and that was Kelsey Grammer in the blue make-up at the end right?

Might be my favourite X-Men movie yet.
So does that mean The Wolverine is retconned too? Just wondering because of the ending for that movie.

I liked it, it was a good follow-up to First Class.
It's a nice period piece, showing us a bit of history, the glorious 70s (it even had Claude François music, blast from the past).

Jackman is finally starting to look the right age for Wolverine (stick around Hugh!).

Pity that a lot of great characters like Colossus and Storm and (old Magneto) have very little to do.

To my surprise, I liked young Quicksilver. It was a very funny scene, demonstrating his talents, and appropriate music.

I must say, the end scenes had me confused. Can't find a logical step to get me from the ending of the 70s scenes to "the gang's all back, including Jean"...

I want to watch the movie again, I liked it already, but I think repeated viewing will make me like it even more...

Giving this a bump because I just got done watching the DVD. Didn't see Kelsey's name in the end credits so I don't think that was him at the end.

THAT is a cooler actor (X-Men films fan) than I'd've guessed.
