What happened to the actor who played Gambit in the first stand alone Wolverine movie...Taylor Kitsch? I thought he was pretty good.

Channing Tatum was in the running for Captain America...and since he's pretty popular now...it was only a matter of time before he landed a superhero role.

I am not a huge gambit fan but his portrayal of Duke in gijoe 1 doesn't give me alot of promise for this role. he seems better in comedies (21 Jumpstreet) or chick movies (dear john)
