Looks like they didn't read any of the novels.

I dunno--I'm excited to see Tarzan again and possible merchandising, but the character designs have a creepy "Gelfling" look to me.

Still can't watch Polar Express and all those dead, dead eyes,
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Wow...I have mixed feelings about this movie...

First, I thought Tarzan was found as a baby. Second, I'm confused as to the target audience of this movie, is it for kids, or adults? If it is for adults, is this the future of movies? No paying actors, just animators and computer techs? If it's for kids, it seems a little intense.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

Yes. Not just movies... it's the future of *everything*.... I mean, it's "progressive technology". Making things that we'd *like* to see: *actually* possible.

And if you live long enough, you'll have to be prepared for more extreme scenarios than "amazing visual art" with the only limitations being "our imaginations".... Indeed, the "agenda-filled" robots with Austrian accents who turn on humanity (or something else of that "extreme" nature that is bound to actually happen with our incredibly advancing "powerful/intelligent" tech) and those killer intelligent machines (or what-have-you) will trump a fully animated ROCKY XXXVI movie in the context of "grabbing our undivided attention" every time

Well, even if the animation becomes "the majority/the norm" a couple decades from now, I still think not paying voice actors is a much longer time off.

Personally? I look forward to ROCKY XXXVI with an animated take on a young Sly Stallone that is hard to tell apart from the real one. If I don't live to see that kind of tech, then I guess I can take from that, that it'll be that much more likely that I didn't live long enough to see my PC strangle me while I'm posting on the Net

That's very, very true. The closest to Burroughs was probably Greystoke, and they still didn't get his look right. Mike Henry kind of looked right, but they made the character essentially Lazenby's Bond in a loincloth.

I still want to see the Tarzan of the books on film, someday.

If those bad guys think they can just waltz into Pandora and steal their Unobtanium from Tarzan, they got another think coming.

Still, it looks entertaining enough, but I am so tired of modern film trailers. That music that kicks in at 0:40 is going to sound as dated one day as the bom-chicka-wa-wa funk from the 70s.

the first 50 seconds looked good. nothing new, but I'd watch it with my kids. then Jane -blech. then it really gets dumb. i will not be seeing this movie.
