NBC announced they are re-booting HEROES as HEROES Reborn. New Cast with the possibility the old cast may appear occasionally, (tho I doubt we'll see Claire or Syler at all). I was really disappointed how the series lost it's momentum and seemed to keep downplaying it's great characters. Maybe they should just leave well enough alone. Not much info except this guy's blog goes into it some:

I loved the first season of Heroes, but I think Dr. Sheldon Cooper summed up the arc of the series best when expressing his dismay on the cancellation of Alphas:
"They can't just cancel a show like Alphas. You know? They have to help the viewers let go. Firefly did a movie to wrap things up. Buffy the Vampire Slayer continued on as a comic book. Heroes gradually lowered the quality season by season till we were grateful it ended."Comment

It was a terrible show beyond season 1. I don't understand why they would bring it back. I don't have to watch it so if everyone else likes it, good on them.

I've never made it past episode three of season one.
