This does seem terrible. (Though I've skipped out on quite a few of them - and don't even think about it.)

Personally, I'm a lot more confused by the fact that they're all around the same age than the fact that Michael B. Jordan is black. Loosing the father figure component of Sue and Reed to Johnny is a much bigger departure for me. Reed and Ben as 25 year-old kids makes no sense to me either. Both should have more life experience behind them, in my opinion.

Also, it seems completely backwards that Jamie Bell is The Thing and Miles Teller is Reed. I almost can't believe it's not a mistake - it should be other way around. No?

Not that a switch would help much - just make it a tiny bit less baffling.

^The entire movie is a mistake if you ask me.

I could roll around in glue and cover myself with crunchy Cheetos and make a better Thing than the guy they picked.

This has to be the most random casting ever for any movie based on anything. I feel like a stack of headshots and a dart game were involved.

Up next: Abe Vigoda as Darkseid and Betty White as Starfire.

LOL only difference is more people would pay to see you and the Cheetos then shell out $$$ to see this movie

I do like Kate Mara on "House of Cards". So I guess there is that?

It feels like A LOT of desperation to "make it youthful" went into this - probably by executives feeling very insecure about their age - and not much else.

I just like how Trank denied every leak as a lie. Now half turn out true.

I just hope they hold to the "government weapons" storyline. Sounds like Millar revamped his Miracle Park script for FF. The timing works out.

As I said before, I've been waiting for a Misifts Of Science "reimagining". Here it comes.

And all the X-Men/FF tie-in talk makes this feel/look like rebranded New Mutants. Very odd. Never understood why Fox didn't try and swap rights with Marvel. Trade FF for something that should/could be apart of the X-Universe.

Like Alpha Flight. Where does that reside? I mean, then they could shoot in Vancouver as a stand-in, for Vancouver.

^For all those who groaned about Corman's psuedo-film, and Tim Story's two films, any of those previous actors look like they stepped off of Jack Kirby's drawing desk compared to these folks.

Who knows....it may actually be good. But I can't see anyone looking at this cast and going "All Right!"

And Johnny being portrayed by a black actor is the least of my complaints. He actually seems more appropriate than the other two guys!

Exactly! This looks like a train wreck already. I can't see ever wanting to even watch this unless a miracle happens.

The thing that sucks is that the FF have been my favourite superheroes since I was a kid. I haven't liked any of the films so far, none have done them justice and it looks like that will continue. God, I so wish that Marvel/Disney had the movie rights.

I must be way out of touch with pop culture because I have no idea who any of these actors are.
