Smallville Cast Changes

Kreuk ruins the show now IMO, I can't stand her breathy acting style and her character is purposeless, she slows down the series. Losing Lex would really cripple the series however, I wonder how many plots they really have left with this mopey guy not putting a cape on.

Maybe they should just cancel the show. It would be like someone making a series about the Beatles before they were famous. Almost like someone kept retelling the Backbeat movie over and over. (Boring)

If you don't get to the point of what makes the character (such as the Superman costume) then it is pointless to keep telling tales over and over of pre Superman in his Smallville days.

It gets old and maybe it is time to cancel the show.

There has been sooo much talk about Michael not signing on for another season but, there is rumor he will......There is only like 1 season left....A far a I knew Kristen was staying on. She has been on like every episode. If they she leaves though it will be easy to take Lana out of the show because they are moving more towards Metropolis and away from Smallville. Can't Wait for ONE REPUBLIC. they are on the next episode...yeah

Thursday's episode was pretty cool; but, Pete Ross stealing Jimmy Olsen's bit - Jimmy was Elastic Lad in the old comics. Does this mean that Pete will eventually go into politics?

Saw a blurb on Comic Book Resources - Daily Comic Book News, Reviews, Previews, Commentary and Message Boards, the daily screen update that Kristen Kreuk is currently in Hong Kong. And not planning on being back to Smallville anytime soon.

Wasn't there something somewhere, like a rumor posted somewhere about Lori Lemaris?

Kreuk's offical word that she's mostly gone is good news. I just hope they corraled Rosenbaum and Mack (Chloe) into returning.

I agree with the lot of you. I like the show, I love the New Supergirl, she should be spun off into her own series, perhaps fighting Braniac would be kool for her.
As for Lana, its time for clark to let her go, its time to bring lois more into the fold and make her more aware of whats going on and to make her clarks love interest.
P.s. Just how many people are going to find out that clark has poweres, seems like way to many know already as it is. and im sure they are smart enough to put 2 and 2 together when he starts wearing the suit.

My nephew and i are SOOOOOOOO tired of the poor poor PITIBLE ME, Clark that the only reason we watch the show is for the Guest stars ! It's made Superman the biggest WIMP in comics television history ! it's almost aggravting to watch now, i don't care how cute Kristen is or any of the other girls, it's suppose to be about clark becoming superman not crying over lost love and MESSINg royally with established comic continuity! Worse yet they are now adding smallville continuty into the main DC comics AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It jump the Shark when it killed Jonathan no wait, i did so when it made Clark and lex best friends who didn't trust each other. that goes back to seaon 1 see, it should have been off years ago, they didn't even get the right kind of dog or name it right.

Kristen Said about a year ago she would not be going onto season 7 but she did that so, she may come to 8 even if she has to make guest apperanes

TV Guide's Mike Ausiello is reporting that someone is going to take the long dirt nap on April 17th. Someone who's been around since the first season, someone who's never been assumed dead. He says it will be a big surprise who does the deed.

My guess is Lionel. I would say that he has to take a dirt nap before the series wraps. I always thought that one of the things that happens before Smallville ends is that Lex would somehow engineer his father's death. Very Oedipal. Of course, now Clark knows that Lionel has been playing him. Maybe he discovers that Lionel was there when Jonathan had his fatal heart attack or some such thing.

Plus, there has to be a reasonable explanation why Lionel and Chloe are only unique and exlusive to Smallville...

...I'm just sayin'...
