Here's my Christmas gift to myself this year. Ordway's one of my favorite artists and superman and santa are two of my favorite characters.

That man hasn't lost a beat. It's criminal the way DC has treated him, having him signed to exclusive contract, but barely giving him enough work to make it. How long until Jurgens and Giffen get the same treatment?

Put Ordway on a JLA classic book. Give it to Gerry Conway to write. It would make me VERY happy.

The fact that DC finds his work too "old fashioned" looking makes me wanna puke. Mr. Ordway could draw rings around Jim "Everyone I draw looks like an Asian teenager" Lee.
His run on Superman remains my favorite ever...his line work is just incredible, and IMO he is second to none in drawing faces. Just an incredibly talented individual.

Were I in charge at DC, I'd attempt to hire Ordway and Mark Waid to do a Superman title.

On the latest Fire & Water podcast, Rob Kelly was bemoaning how DC doesn't do an old school title for those of us disenfranchised with the New 52. He brought up JLA by Conway and George Perez. Now I know George is off at Boom, but Jerry could filly in ably.
