    Nightwing canceled in April

I guess they are going to cancel my book with issue 30 in April. So I'm thinking of canceling them (DC) until he comes back. It's going to save me a bunch of money.

So is DiDio finally kiling him? He's been after him since he first walked in DC's doors. I know he exposed his secret ID in the latest mega crossover.

Man, that is a big deal given that Nightwing has run non stop for almost twenty years since Chuck Dixon gave him some TLC in his ongoing.

On top of that, it's a Bat-book, and those pretty much top the DC sales charts.

Let's hope they are just doing it to give him a new #1 soon enough? (or at least a team book?)

He's too popular a character for them to keep him in limbo.

^Then cancelled Nightwing when Dick became Batman, post RIP/Final Crisis, right?

A year ago I would have flipped out over this, because more than likely, he's dead. But my Dick Grayson is off somewhere in Bludhaven having adventures in his blue and black suit, so no worries on my end.

Cancelling subscriptions is the best way to send a message. When Marvel brought in the Spider-Clones subscriptions fell like rocks. DC tho seems deaf to the message fans are sending.

Yeah, I hear you. But I can't deny I LIKED that Dick grew up and moved on. I don't detest Jason Todd, but I could sponge him from history, and keep Tim, and I'd be okay.

                  Don't Panic folks.

April is a big transition month for DC with the after effects of Forever Evil rearing it's ugly head. I am 99% positive that in the coming months all the canceled books will be reintroduced / rebooted.

It's funny but Dick Grayson in my mind has been Nightwing since 1984 thanks to Marv Wolfman. I was a huge fan of The New Teen Titans and Dick grew up with me. He hasn't been Robin for a long time.

If Dick survived Dan Didio trying to kill him in Infinite Crisis I'm sure he'll survive this ... eventually.

Now if only they showed Wally West some love. He was The Flash for more issues than Barry Allen was.

Wally is coming back as Tron.

Teen Titans is getting cancelled too. Hmm...anyone smell a new Titans book? Of course there is no history to make it work, but still...

Suicide Squad, Stormwatch and Superman Unchained and JLA all got the axe, too. Unchained is probably due to Jim Lee not being able to keep up or it was just a vanity project for him.

JLA is transitioning into Justice League United (formerly Canada), no?

Superman Unchained was basically a mini series. Poor sales wasn't the issue

Launching a new Harley Quinn solo series was a death knell for Suicide Squad IMO

Killing Dick Grayson serves no purpose whatsoever. Seriously, what's to be gained? If the book sales don't merit going forward, I get that.
