Addicted to CGC graded books!

Although I don't believe in toy grading because you really can't tell if something sealed is mint or not, I think CGC graded comics are great. They look so beautiful....here's my two latest aquisitions...

I'm happy for you, but I don't particularly get the whole "slabbed" thing. Even if I had a copy of Action #1, I'd want to crack it open and look at it. I'd be really careful, but I'd still have to do it.

But that's just me. If you like it, go for it.

I have cheap reading copies of all my slabbed books...I just love how nice they look slabbed and not having to worry about damage.

I definitely fall into the "like to handle my geek stuff" kind of collector.

I just like the feel, the smell, the look and all the tactile sensations that this old stuff reproduces. But I have never really been an investor type of collector either... And there is nothing at all wrong with that... I'm just into this stuff to relive some childhood memories.

That said, boy, that Man Thing looks so sweet and conjures up great memories!
