Never has the name of a company been so descriptive of what you truly got as a product. There was little to no substance to the books, it was all style points...and I was hooked just like everybody else. I'd become so jaded with the norm and the stagnation of the big two that I was forcing myself to buy these Image books regardless if they were any good. I was making myself like them and pretended that we were getting good stories and comics worthy of hard earned money. There were some cool books and some neat characters, but the overall first two years as a publisher were horrendous from a reader perspective.
I totally want to see this full docu. I caught the tail end of their height of popularity on the comic con scene when I was working for my publisher. They had their own rules and were treated so much more different. I saw Jim Lee at a con, I think right after Stormwatch was released, and he must have had a twenty person entourage around him at all times. Schwarzenegger at the Arnold CLassic in Columbus didn't have that many people around.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment
