OK..I'm I the only one here not getting WHY the BIG SUPERHEROES are not here to help...hmmm...THOR ..the dude can travel to a different WORLD ,but we have a motley crew of young wanna be's trying to defeat HYDRA...
ONCE again ...the show is grasping....ahhhhh...its buggin moi !....still think the show is failing !...

Thor wouldn't be bothered to help protect us from ourselved the aliens only get involved when it suits their interests, I'm sure the asgardians care for earth the same way we care about dogs, cats, or engangerd species

and don'tr forget this is occuring at the same time as the events in winter soldier so that puts Cap out of the picture. As they've shown Hydra had pervasibly invaded the one organization with the reach and resources to combat a threat of Hydra's magnitude Sheild so now it's only the smaller percentage of agents who weren't crooked left and their organization is outlawed.

of course the reality is this same story line was played out in the second Gi joe film in almost the same way

They specifically mentioned Captain America being MIA after the "events in Washington". And of what use would the Hulk or Iron Man be in this scenario? Maybe Black Widow or Hawkeye, but I imagine they would be pretty busy right now. And don't forget that this is only a Shield hub, while Coulson & crew are important to us as viewers, they are just a small part of the organization. And Garrett & Ward are only a small arm of Hydra. Remember, top brass are involved.

at least joe 2 was better than Joe 1 (talk about a low bar to reach Killing Channing alone was worth it) but I saw it with a free ticket I got from frozen pizza boxes and still came out going eh

I haven't seen cap 2 yet but I am enough of a fan of AOS that I kept watching despite it spoiling cap 2

I heard some people tonight at Walmart griping about how Ward turned out. I was soooooo tempted to yell out "Hail Hydra!"

I couldn't get past how cheap everything felt last night. The sets, the copter attack, even the score.

Hey, I woulda been happy with some cgi to show some "cold breath" up there in there in the Canadian tundra. But at least everyone looked cute in their lil' knit hats!

While I enjoy Amy Acker, not sure what was going on here, or why the big interruption to go chase Blackout. Ward continues to be a threat, but now Skye is aware. I really thought she was going to be cornered and then unleash some sort of powers on Ward, maybe that scene is yet to come.

Amy Acker I guess it's nice that Joss stays loyal to his old friends I'm shocked we havn't seen Alexis Denisoff yet
