    New Official Frazetta Website

and it appears the Frazetta Museum is reopening! After all the sad infighting amongst his children that went on after Frazetta and his wife passed away, this is great news. I'd love to visit.
Featuring the largest collection of Frazetta original works in the world. Explore the Official Frazetta Art Museum—celebrating Frank Frazetta’s legendary artwork with exclusive prints, licensed collectibles, and original pieces on display.

I'd love to go too someday, I've been a Frazetta fan since I was like 10 years old.

y'know what? Totally do-able as a weekend day trip or overnight... only five hours from your place!

        Let's totally do this!

The museum was scheduled to reopen in late 2013, but due to the necessary upgrades and repairs it will reluctantly have to wait until early next spring 2014.

love the bit in this interview with his son and grandson where they mention that he wasn't allowed in the museum because he'd start taking paintings off the wall and redoing them. art is never finished, only abandoned right?

Sure, sounds like a good road trip once this crappy winter is a distant memory.

Frazetta has always been a HUGE influence on my own artistic personality and style. Much of what I know about color and dynamics I learned by staring at his work for hours. I never cared for the others in the meduim who started using airbrush and was too clean, like Valejo. There was something primal, brutal and completely organic about Frank's work that drew me in. I would love to visit this museum when it's finished and ready.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.
