Name 5 characters whose costumes instantly mean the new 52 universe.

I've got an art project i'm thinking of having done and i want the New 52 to stand out from the old DC Universe.
So what 5 Characters By thier Costume changes represent the new 52?

    1. Superman - with no shorts.

    Now give me 5 more.

Also give me 5 characters that by thier costume changes would represent the Marvel Ultimate comic line Universe.

That i can't start you off on.

    Thanks for the help.

Starfire and Harley's skanked up ones. Wonder Woman and her choker. Captain Marvel and his idiotic hoodie.

Some of these aren't costumes, but general appearance that was radically changed:

      1. The Creeper (where do I even start?)
      2. Cyborg (wow, technology has come so far to make 80s tech look..clunky?)
      3. Supergirl (that red "patch" on her crotch...UGH.)
      4. Darkseid (the Lord of Apokolips needed some rainbow piping)
      5. The Joker (the worst offender of them all. Leatherface wannabe in mechanic's coveralls)

C'mon Anthony i was counting on your ability to instantly know comic answers! Even if it does come down to picking the top of the poop pile.

I would've said black Nick Fury...but since Marvel has seen fit to shoehorn him into the 616 Universe as the son of the original he's not unique anymore to the Ultimate universe.

I think the major offenders have been covered already...I have nothing new to add

For Ultimate Marvel, since you say based on their costumes, Thor instantly comes to mind.

                Then Iron Man.

                Hawkeye.

                Wolverine.

And Fury is definitely different than the 616 version.

The Ultimates have bled so much into the movies, which in turn has bled back in into the traditional comics, so it's really hard to say. The triangular face Iron Man is definitely a stand-out, though. Mostly because it's an ugly design no movie wants to touch.

I'm glad Hawkeye's look didn't make it into the movies. That outfit make him look like he works with Cobra from GI Joe.
