I like the look of Ogon Bat. Hes a fairly old character. Its sorta hard to find information on him.

    A episode guide here: http://home.alphalink.com.au/~roglen/phantoma.htm
Is there a DVD collection in english of this character? How old are the cartoons?

    Edit: They are from 1968

I'm just disappointed we didn't get to see ROuth get a second chance at the character because I thought he had so much potential. Under Singer's heavy-handed direction he didn't have much of an opportunity to express himself and distance his performance as something other than Reeve worship. Man of Steel had a similar problem not letting their Superman distinguish himself and was a victim of an overly serious and dialogue-lacking script. Superman the character doesn't need a lot of direction, just let the natural charm of the actor come through. Donner was well aware of this.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I think Brainiac there looks like a cross between Two Face and Jonah Hex.

That's an interesting concept, but like anything, it's hard to know whether or not that would have been the final design. Look at the first Spiderman movie and how far they took the classic Goblin idea before they abandoned it for Ranger-Gobby? The mistakes of Return were rooted in the story. They wrote themselves into a corner early by giving him a son. That along with the premise of making it a continuation of the old Reeve's story arch killed it. Had Singer started with a fresh reboot, Routh likely would have continued in the role.
