Bingo. Everything after is forgettable. They should have locked his corpse up at Cadmus and left it for 20 years until we all forgot about him.

Well, at the end of Hunter Prey, Superman and Waverider deposit him at the end of time, so that really should have been the end of him. We got to find out his backstory, Superman got a rematch, and we're out.

my guess is he's negotiating to cameo as Aquaman and then spin it off into a feature in 2017.

Mamoa would make a great Prince Namor, but he's all wrong for Aquaman.

Mamoa is mostly wrong for just about every part in the DCU. I just figured they were going to go with a more savage, brutal fighter Aquaman. I've also heard he's possibly Lex, which I find very unlikely.

I think they - WB/Ratner hedge fund - panicked at the Affleck reaction, the MOS final opinion being 50/50 and the 2015 competition.

Consider Avengers 2 comes out in May, the Marvel/Netflix project, FF and Ant-Man for the rest of the 2015 summer.

Along with - Jurassic Reboot, Terminator 5, Despicable Me: Minions then Bond and Star Wars at the end of the year.

They could get crushed, easily, and end up at the bottom of the top ten. I'm not even counting movies like Penguins of Madagascar, which is going to be freakin huge and will own April.

World's Finest is now Justice League, which I think is part of the name problem they're running into because Batman is the best global marketing title of the past 25 years.

So Batman is the established sell to intro JLA, sort of like a shake-n-bake version of the IM/Cap/Thor lead-in to Avengers.

Its to bad WB couldnt look past Bruce Timm working in animation. Imagine if he and his crew had been giving a chance at live action...

I know Jason Momoa from one of my favorite shows, Stargate: Atlantis. I like him but let's be honest, he can play one part: brooding tough guy. I'll say I haven't seen his Conan movie so maybe he's gotten exponentially better at acting lately, but I'm not sure he could pull off Lobo. Lobo has a snarky, fun banter that makes his character more interesting and I don't think Momoa can summon enough energy to do it.

I'm betting Momoa is Luthor's main hench or the big tough of a local gang bats beats up on to establish his awesome quotient before the main villain shows.

Preach on brutha man. I've been saying that for YEARS. Those guys distilled the essence of Superman, Batman and the whole frickin' Justice League down to the best versions of each franchise. They deserve the keys to the kingdom, in comics AND film.

I agree with both you guys on this and am glad someone said it. Their treatment of the characters to me has always been spot on to me while making the DC Universe so accessible to newcomers.

Give him a haircut, give him a goatee and maybe you could pass him off as Vandel Savage. Maybe.
