    Amazing Spider-Man 2 - vs. 3 Villains

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp

That Rhino...suit...robot? Whatever it is looks like pure garbage, as does the non-goblin Goblin.

I don't understand. They made a point of making Spider-Man look MORE like the comics version while simultaneously making the villains look NOTHING like themselves.

The Rhino looks like a reject from the Transformers movie. Or some weird Power Rangers vehicle.

I agree. On the left, you have... Wait, what am I looking at there? Is there a robot in that picture? In the center, you have James Franco, back from Spider-Man 3 AGAIN. And on the right, we have... Emperor Palpatine shooting Force lightning.

It's because Hollywood is simultaneously attracted to and ashamed of Superheroes. They bring in the box office bucks, but Hollywood is embarrassed of Superheroes' four-color roots. I'm still astonished we got what we did in Avengers.

I want colorful heroes and villains that look like I remember them.

What a mess... Everything about this movie continues to diminish my interest. It looks like Spider-man facing off against action figures. Marvel really needs to get this property back.

Yup; AND it's the 90's again.... so you can expect more weird, 90's artifacts.... like the Rhinozord.... to pop up in things.

Total turnoff but I'll still give it a go once released on dvd. no way I'd pay for a ticket to view it.

The trailer looked interesting, but I wish they'd just steered clear of any kind of Goblin for at least another movie. Seems way too soon, and swirly-haired Harry is no better than Extreme Snowboard Harry or Power Ranger Norman.

The Robo-Rhino looks like a total miss for me. Electro is okay.

My mind may completely change when I'm in the theater...and I will be there. My son will want to see it, so his enthusiasm will pull me along through my doubts.

Robo-Gobby returns with Transformer Rhino in tow. Harry Osborn is a bit OTT in those scenes. I hope they give him a little more motivation than the stereotypical 'evil-scientist' rage. Electro doesn't even warrant a comment. The Spidey suit looks good though.
