    Kneel before 4 inch zod!!!

This has me all kinds of giddy, yet they don't seem to have a corresponding Superman Christopher Reeve listed?
Similarly, Michael Keaton from 1989 Batman x2 does not face off against Jack Nicholson Joker, but Batman Returns Penguin?!
I guess they are sorting through likeness rights?

That new Zod is pretty cool,I remember the pocket hero Zod peg warming but at least he had Jor-El to keep him company.

Who knows what the hold up for Superman is. All I know is I'm getting it as soon as I see one.

I'm hoping they expand the line and we get an Evil Superman from Superman III, and maybe even Solar Man. Of course I can already let Superman beat up on the 3 3/4 inch Marvel Sentry figure until then.

Mattel did this with the 12" Movie Master figures...releasing Zod first. Who can understand their marketing madness.

Thanks! I don't think I've e ver been this excited for any other toyline prior. hopefully at this scale and price point they can go a bit deeper into the selection of characters... Ursa, Non at the very least. Heck i'd even buy an otis and miss teschmacher.

I'll probably end up buying them, but I have to admit the price point and prices of modern action figures are getting ridiculous. $12 for a figure the size of a Happy Meal toy is pushing into crazy territory, especially compared to $25 Retro figures that are twice the size with cloth outfits and accessories. Is it me or has the price of the average action figure doubled in the last ten years?

^Oh, it's not you. When the 6" DC figures by Mattel first appeared in the Batman line, I believe they were $6-$7 a piece. By the time DCUC came along, it was more like $8-10. Now, those same figures are $16 at the cheapest. The price of 3 3/4" figures is particularly grating, although at least most of the $9-$10 figures have great sculpts, articulation, and some accessories. The $5 don't even get a complete paint job!
