    PBS Superheroes Doc

Anybody tune in last night? I tried to but discovered my new cable provider didn't include PBS in my package.

I was actually a bit shocked to discover that, so I'm stuck waiting for video or other methods.

I thought it was on tonight, then discovered otherwise this morning. Not sure if our PBS channel aired it or not. They tend to air what they want, when they want and not follow the regular schedule.

I caught the very end of it last night and was bummed. Then I realized they were replaying the separate episodes over the next three nights.

        Hmmmm....

It was okay, but you won't see too much you don't already know. The Wonder Woman one from a few months back was a lot better 'cos it showed a lot of the stuff you never hear about, and gave the perspectives of a diverse segment of fans.

And everything else. Except "Little LuLu."

It was a solid overview of the history of super hero comics, but as Don pointed out, there wasn't much that most avid fans hadn't read before. But it was well done.

Yeah, I didn't expect to learn anything, just wanted to not watch a rerun of Modern Family again.

I saw it, thought it was pretty well done.

They showed a commercial clip for Mego Batman with Robin, Joker, playsets when discussing the post-Adam West Batman boom. Don't think they mentioned the word "Mego" however.

Oh, and I reaffirmed my annoyance with the one and only Todd Macfarlane.
