...But this auction went for a lot more then it should have in my opinion. I hope the winning bidder doesn't think that it's original Kirby art. All the cover is a "Stat", copy of the original Hulk number 1 cover, with a a little bit of extra art on the very far edges of the stat image area. The reprints from the UK were Magazine sized so in order for the image to fit the Magazine size the printers have to embelish the areas to fit:

It's a cool piece...but it's not $1500 + cool. Again, just my opinion.

I like production art, too. I hope it's an aberration and production art prices don't jump up into that price range. I've picked up some pages I really like all for $100 or under apiece, which is really my limit.

I can't even see paying $1500 for a stat page from Hulk No. 1 much less a reprint of the cove.
