None of this stuff works because everyone sticks to the WW design with dogma, and it does not translate to live action. The actor always looks like a pro wrestler or Cirque De Solei member who lost her mind and decided to walk the real world in-gear.
The design has to be a cross between a female Roman archer and a Valkyrie. That's why Faora from MOS is probably the front runner in WB. She's not model-beauty generic and has already shown the ability to sell a costume.
The whole concept is going to have to be closer to Xena than Thor, as Thor only worked because he was out of garb on Earth for the majority of the film, and in-costume amongst the Technicolor Dream Coats of Asgard. And that's really what Marvel understands; the world around them has to blend into the design. Cap dragged that point to the foreground and is apparently keeping it there in the sequel.
Then again, Injustice rules all right now. So that will most likely end up as the basis.
