I've posted before about Marvel UK comics. Any UK Mego Museum Members know if these Marvel UK Posters actually exist?



Would love to get my hands on these posters. Also, would anyone happen to know the artist of these posters? Thanks for any info on locating and acknowledging the existence of these posters.

Yeah I had those as a kid, damn why did i get rid of them. Looking at those pics brings back fond memories. I had no idea they were UK exclusives. 90p!!!! That wouldn't even buy me half a coffee now

I dunno about that but I defo got all the posters back then including the Daredevil one. I was such a big fan back then that even got my letter printed in one of the early issues asking if anyone had Mighty World Of Marvel No 1.

I even gave up the mail away poster that you got by cutting out tokens out of the first 10 issues of MWOM. It featured FF, Hulk and Spidey and was either drawn by John or Sal Buscema. I had the Spider-Man weekly one as well, which was some sort of photo of a man in a Spidey suit (memory is fuzzy on that one). The only one I kept was the Steranko Foom Poster that you got when you joined Foom.

Thanks for the link Clem. It's on the watch list...it also has 12 watchers so I think my chances are slim to none. The Thor is FREAKIN' INCREDIBLE!!! Never heard of the artist that created these...but they are really nice.

Omg, just had flashback. I totally remember getting those mini transfers of those posters.

I am a Marvel poster collector and I had never heard about those beauties...

Scored one of four that a UK seller had on Ebay. Cost a little bit more than I wanted to spend...but I did have the Ebay Bucks program pay for about 90% of the final bid. Can't complain about that. Should have this AWESOME Lopez Espi Thor Poster in a couple of weeks. They are few and far between auction wise:

I just picked up a vintage UK Spider-Man comic magazine. Interesting to note that they often came with centrefold posters.
