Looks to be coming in October. Check the preview figures and you'll find the Retro-Action figures sprinkled throughout, along with some great old stock art.

I have the original DC cookbook from the early 80s. It eluded me for years, but I knew about it. A special insert was included with one of the women's magazines of the day, and my mom tore it out and showed it to me. I begged her to make me Superman hamburger from the insert. For the next several years, every hamburger I had was decorated with that famous "S" shield. And this was before the advent of ketchup squeeze bottles!

Anyway, glad to see this return in an updated form!

It still amazes me how they had to ditch the old costumes in the actual comic books in order to reach a modern audience supposedly and yet all of the product on the shelves seems to push the old-school style guide artwork. Talk about a mixed message.

Featuring "Batman's bitter lemonade," Superman hotdogs with the ketchup on the inside.... weird.... there are a LOT of hotdog recipes in the "52" one....
