Ted Beneke spitting image of Captain Marvel

I know that C.C Beck had said that he modeled Fred Macmurray and maybe Cary Grant after Cap ; BUT I wonder if other artist of the time
may have modeled Cap after Singer and Band Leader Tex Beneke. I was watching some of his songs on You tube and thought
He was the spitting image of him more than Macmurray.

I was trying to find a good pic of Tex so i could draw him as Cap, but may have to work from the films on you tube.....

Tex has the hair the squint in the eyes even the big smile.....check out this vid

SHAZAM! I can definitely see a resemblance. Could have been another influence. There was an article in Alter Ego #64 that posited that 30s-40s boxer Max Schmeling may have been another influence on Cap. I don't see it too much, but maybe...
