Now that's official, which actor you want as the new Batman in JLA?

Batman with Man of Steel first, then on to JLA, wow, beyond awesome.

Since Christian Bale no longer wants to be Batman...who you want next?

Please don't say Johnny Depp, I swear to God...I will kill you, lol.

As mentioned elsewhere and before, I don't want an actor I've heard of before. THis role should be given to an actor who can then define their own career with it and not just be a bullet point on their resume.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I really like the idea of Star Trek's/Judge Dredd's Karl Urban as Batman, he's got that perfect frown for the Dark Knight, he might be a tad old for the part though, 41, but he's youthful enough looking.

Urban and Armie Hammer are the two most looked at for the role, from what I've heard.

Armie Hammer is way too tall, he'd tower over Cavill.

Batman taller than Supes would look funny on screen.

Wow, I had to go look this news up. I think this is a smart move. Part of me is a bit sad we won't see a Superman sequel all to himself...BUT, Superman had years and years where he was the only DC hero getting ANY media treatments, so I think it's okay that he has to share now.

No doubt about it, this film will double the already impressive box office of MoS.

Not really sure on Batman. I like Urban, but haven't seen Dredd yet. Just know him from Trek and LOTR. I'll have to think on this...

                    I like Urban, too.

Ian Sommerlander from Lost if they get him in the weight room wouldn't be bad.

I don't see Hammer in the role, but they could work around the height issue. Done it with Cruise Stallone and others since they began making movies.

I could see them going with Levitt and still not tying it to Dark Knight.

I don't mind a an unknown in the part, but whoever is picked is going to be second guessed at least until the film opens.

Yup. He is a vampire guy. Not the Dark Knight

I like Gordon Levitt as an actor, he's a great actor in fact, but physically he's just too short and puny to play Batman, just my two cents.

^^ Yeah, he'd make a really cool Nightwing but I can't see him as Batman.
