I thought Trinity War had an interesting idea behind it, then I saw Johns refer to Identity Crisis, and I shuddered.
Wasn't the whole point of the 52 reboot to cut through the Gordian Knot that was DC's chronology/continuity?
How does going right back to a massive multi-layered campaign not just restart that madness?
Once the "deeply effects title x" talk starts, they're planting the seeds for future revisions, retcons and eventually, reboot city.
