Even then, Batman was king of the variants. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I noticed something pretty darn interesting too...on the packaging for the Mattel Batman and Robin 2-pack, the 1966 bat-signal logo specifically is now trademarked in addition to the standard modern bat-logo.
Mattel doesn't trademark stuff unless they have plans for it. I bet they're going to repurpose the bat-signal from the DKR movie masters line into a 66 version...Comment

Yeah, it's all over the map. The Batcycle's Bat-symbol is slightly different than the Batmobile's symbol, and the Batboat's symbol looks like West's chest insignia.
Kind of like how Michael Keaton's original Batsuit had those extra points on it. The standard bat was plastered on EVERYTHING in 1989...and his suit didn't match!

Maybe each symbol was used on a different prop and none of the dept.'s bothered to coordinate. You're looking at the logo's from: the logo-animated intro-trademark, chest symbol-costuming, utility belt-props but not necessarily costuming, Batmobile-George Barris/vehicle, Bat-signal-props; but because it's lighted maybe not the same dept. that made the utility belt. How many of these are leftover from the pilot that starred Lyle Wagner? They may have chose not to fix some of these to save on budget.Comment

Lyle Waggner just did a screen test. I don't think there was an entire pilot featuring him...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I remember noticing that as a kid when I would draw pictures of the stuff from the show. As I remember, the bat on the bat-signal itself doesn't even really match the image as projected, either!Comment
