Help ID a Superman and Batman Story

I know this is a long shot, but figured I'd ask.

about 1968 or 1969 My family moved from Michigan to Alabama. I was 3 or 4 at the time. Anyway, all I can remember from that trip, was my older brother had some Superman Comics.

Of course I was to young to read, but I kept begging him to let me look at them. He finally let me look at one of his books.

For some reason, this comic is stuck in my mind. I remember Superman had to fly to the moon, and there me made statues that looked like the people on Earth. Thats all I can remember. Can anyone tell me where I could find that book?

Next flash forward to when I was 9 or 10. I used to buy comics at the flea market by the truck load. 5 for a dollar was a bargain, and no telling how much they would be now if I ever kept them all.

Anyway this Batman story was anywhere from the 50's-70's All i can remember was the joker painted the road black and then repainted the white line over a cliff. That night a armored car drove up that road and followed the white line off the cliff.

This was back in the day when the Joker was not the modern day psycho, and I always thought that was super cold blooded to do that.

Anyway if anyone can help me id these 2 books I would be forever in their debt

The closest story I remember is one where Superman made a duplicate Krypton, including robots of his and Supergirl's parents. That one's in the third Superman book in the Showcase Presents line of black and white reprints. Might be a little early for the date you describe, though...
