remember when we first saw how comics accurate this guy looked and how excited we got?

HA! Good point. We all know how that turned out. To add insult to injury they used him to retcon something and make the whole film series seem invalid at the last minute.

Me too! He probably looks even cooler on screen with all the electricity moving around him. Besides, he didn't look like 60's Electro in the Spectacular Spidey cartoon.

My feelings exactly. Hollywood will NEVER produce our beloved superheroes as they appeared in the comics. Ain't gonna happen.

I will go see it with my boys, and we will probably enjoy it like we have every other superhero movie that has been made (even - gasp - Daredevil).

I, for one, am glad they didn't pattern him after this. I've always thought Electro's costume was one of the goofiest looking in the comic.

Electro is not a character I have a lot of nostalgia for, so this doesn't bug me. I guess he's based on the Ultimate version of the character, which should please fans of that version of the character.

Foxx is a likable actor. Maybe I'll appreciate Electro more if the movie is good.
