    Diesel & Marvel

I like the game he's playing.

    Is he framing Ant-Man/Giant-Man?

Or does his comment mean The Vision?

Personally, I think Marvel is simply trying to stable all talent possible since they're the hot commodity.

They pulled something like this with The Rock but he hasn't met with them yet.

But it doesn't add up why they're talking to marquee names, especially since the RDJ really brought light to how cheap they are. It's been their style since the first X-Men, but most people don't realize this is Perlmutter's business method, and its seeped into the studio productions. Money was the main reason Norton got dropped from Avengers, not the rumored "he's difficult to work with".

The only thing that really fits for Vin is Thanos, much like the "Del Toro's playing The Collector" talk...which is nuts, but makes sense when you consider how much it would cost to cast him as a lead like Dr. Strange.

I'm wondering if their was some talk about Vin being up for Luthor in a MOS 2 and this was their interference.

Vin Diesel as Thanos would add some serious "umph" to an already stacked Avengers 2. I think I'd rather see him as a heavy than a hero.

I always liked him as Martian Manhunter, if DC would quit tripping over their cape.

Can't see him as Hank Pym, but his voice with a little digital work on top would be cool for the vision.

But Thanos would be cool, too.

He was the voice of the Iron Giant, so it may work!

Yep, that's a great movie. Wish the director Brad Bird would take on a live action super hero film.

              There's hope for that yet!
During an interview in May 2013, Bird reiterated his interest in making a sequel. "I have been thinking about it. People think that I have not been, but I have. Because I love those characters and love that world," said Bird. "I am stroking my chin and scratching my head. I have many, many elements that I think would work really well in another Incredibles film, and if I can get ‘em to click all together, I would probably wanna do that."

I doubt he's getting any major part, probably a Guardians voice-over. He's just there for Marvel to show him off. Once they cast Drax, there weren't a lot of parts he could play. He never got his merit badge in thespianism.

That said, I do like him as a personality and a character actor. I just can't picture him in any significant role.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

that pic in the article makes me think he'd be perfect for Kojak.

Universal seems to agree with you, Thunderbolt.
