    Beware the Batman sizzle reel

I'm starting to like this. Not sure about Katana and gun-toting Alfred, but I'll give it a shot. Looks a lot like GL Animated here:

'Beware the Batman' Series Premiere Saturday, July 13 10 am ET/PT on Cartoon Network, but today they released this sizzle reel/trailer to give us a better idea of the design and tone.

Yeah, B&B should have ran for years. But Cartoon Network has absolutely no long-term vision. They live in the "now". They don't even know what's on right "now".

It's actually Anarky, from the Alan Grant/Norm Breyfogle era of the comics, but yeah, he sure looks like Moon Knight!

I'm not too wild about the CGI on this, but I love the new logo -- very cool take on the classic pre-"new look" logo of the 40s and 50s!

It's on Cartoon Network. It won't last. They can't keep any superhero show on for long.

good to see them using different villains.

I could have watched BB forever, too. The second season of GL was really on point as well.

I'm guessing a Man of Steel cartoon has to be in the plans with the film performing so well, and Bruce Timm is supposed to be developing another Justice League show.

The great thing about BB to me was how many guest stars actually made it to TV because of the show. I was thrilled to see the JSA homage in the Justice League, but to actually have a couple BB episodes feature the JSA was fantastic.

The JLI episode vs. Bat-Dracula was so cool and Outrageous Aquaman is among my favorite cartoon characters ever. Loved his family vacation episode.

I'll watch this Batman show and I'm sure it will grow on me, and it is good to see a new mix of villains. I don't get Katanna either, but who knows.
