    How does Superman shave?

Superman Homepage has compiled videos from this fun, and very tongue and cheek campaign. Some pretty wild theories, and yes, Kevin Smith brings up the comic version we all know from Byrne's Man of Steel:

Byrne's theory is the only one that makes sense these days. He probably used to go under a red sun lamp or some such goofy silver age gimmick.

^Actually, it was established that the Earth-One Superman's hair and fingernails only grew so long, and never any longer, under a yellow sun.

Now, how did Superman get longer hair and sideburns in the 70s, during the Julie Schwartz era? I guess he went into Kandor and let it grow, then hopped back out of the bottle!

Earth One is gone. Surprised he doesn't have a cool beard now with the new 52 garbage

I'm aware it's no longer being published, but it's far from gone. I have tons of back issues and tpbs saying otherwise.

Some of Superman's greatest moments have him bearded. "Superman Under The Red Son" from the sixties, and the Justice League episode "Hereafter" partially inspired by it.

^Man, I love the Time and Time Again storyline. The Superman books were great back then.

I've always believed the heat vision/mirror combo did the trick:
