    Possible MAJOR Spider-Man spoiler

Here is a cool leaked photo. Does that outfit look familiar? Check out where she's standing. Anyone else thinking ASM 121-122?

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Yeah, that's pretty spot on. Is the Goblin in the upcoming film?

I was thinking that at the end of the first of the last crop of Spidey films. I wonder if that IS what they're going for, how many folks will think they're ripping off THAT film instead of doing something from the actual cannon.

They've pretty much suggested from the start that they would play out the Gwen Stacy story from the comics.

I didn't expect the inevitable demise of Gwen until the third movie, which I assumed would feature the Goblin as the primary villain.

Are they changing things and making somebody other than the Goblin be responsible for her death?
Or does the Goblin actually appear in the second installment to some degree?

            Interesting...

I wouldn't think that that matters, as anything more than a curiosity on your end, right, Don?

I mean, the original Spider-Man trilogy took it from canon as well... they just used a different character and didn't kill her. It still was a "Goblinesque" move.

If THAT doesn't make sense to you.... look at *this* way.... if you're gonna wonder how many people would think that about the bridge bit, ya might as well wonder about many other "Spidey movie moments" shared between the two Spidey series that the typical non-comic knowin' folk that have viewed both series' films are thinking are "rip offs".

Heck... wanna go one step further? How about the ones that think that EITHER of those Spidey series would be ripping off the end of Batman Forever where Bats had to choose between his girlfriend and his sidekick?

Incidentally, if I was the company making this movie, regardless of the fate of Gwen in this next installment, I woulda wanted to leak a photo like that just for the heck of it. A few hundred bucks for this kind of hardcore comicnerd publicity is worth every penny.

That's pretty much what I've been wondering the last little while. Stuff all starts bleeding together after a bit, and if you're not a hardcore fan I could see it getting tough to keep track. 'Course, for the average viewer I don't think it's a big deal; as long as there's some action it's all good.
