Yippee! One of my favorite days of the year! Just 4 more days to go! I may be taking Cory (age 6) w/ me this year.

Check out the titles! Which ones do you want?

A complete listing of FCBD 2013's 53 comic books from the Gold and Silver sponsors can be found here. Just announced Silver Sponsor offerings include Action Labs’ NFL Rush Zone, Valiant Entertainment’s Harbinger Wars, Oni Press’ The Strangers, Dynamite’s Grimm TV Series Tie-in, and more!

Love the comic day! Bad timing for me this year, but I will find some way to get my kids there.

Only 2? The one I go to every year lets you take 5. I didn't realize it was different every store.

Walking Dead is my must get. The DC & Marvel titles never really amount to much it seems.

Mouse Guard is always good, Grimm is one of my favorite TV series, Prince Valiant & Buck Rogers are a go, Star Wars, and Steampunk Oz!

Don't overlook Sesame Street ...this book is going to be a sleeper hit I'm betting!

Steampunk Oz looks amazing, Buck Rogers, Walking Dead, Endangered Weapon B looks great, Grimm too. Dunno if there are limits around here, is it bad if I go to multiple shops? Haven't done it before, so not sure if there's some etiquette I should know about!

Edit: Just saw the Ninja Turtles one too... Yes please!

Love Free Comic Book Day, although this year's selection seems somewhat lacklustre compared to some previous years.

The Overstreet offering looks interesting and probably the Marvel one just to preview those animated series. My regular guy was giving everyone vouchers for +7 but I don;t even think there's seven total I'm interested in.

My daughter and I make a day of it. My son I think gets embarrassed going to multiple shops. I find the shops sometimes have different offerings.
                      It's all good!

My local independent comic store pretty much ran out of their stock as soon as the doors opened, but the local branch of FP had tons left.

Took my daughter to her first FCBD and she loved it! She made out like a Bandit, I was always a good customer to the owner of the shop, so he gave my daughter a bag full of free comics just for her. I appreciated that bought a few independents for myself......

I went about an hour and a half after to the store opened to the biggest shop in the area. Nice selection of books still available so picked the marvel offering & the Star Wars one which I missed when looking the offerings. Not worried about getting everything I can as I like I said, my regular guy always seems to have leftovers.

Picked up TWD, Marvel, & Star Wars... they were out of Grimm and did not get Steampunk Oz.
