No proven formula = no case.

I can't believe you limped to the close of that JLA thread after having science thrown at ya from two posters with their logic tight to the bone and yet you still had the boldness to start this thread with that "Avengers" phrase.

Unless you were kidding... then I take it back

Huedell... your troll tendencies are beginning to come out here. Let's not mock people based on a mountain of presumption and then think you can save face with a throw away concession at the end. My thread here is about Iron Man's opening take overseas. I'm drawing no parallel between my statement here and my discussion with Madmarva and Hedrap on the JLA thread. That's a separate discussion. And whatever 'battle of the wits' you're engaged in over there is strictly with yourself. Madmarva, Hedrap, and I had a great discussion about the possible direction of the DC universe and how that may or may not run parallel with the current Marvel properties. We came at it from different perspectives, but found common ground in the process. And we did it without degrading one another. You should give that a try sometime instead of grading responses as if you hold all the "answers". We're fans engaged in conjecture about these properties. That's all.

Well, MIB... I guess my throw away concession was well-founded.

So: I take it back. (albeit, not because you were "joking" but because I totally assumed something you did not intend)

        Geesh.

For the record though... what "case" were you resting? If I knew that, I never would have posted what I posted in the first place.

That reference was simply to state the character of Iron Man was enjoying extended popularity from the success of the Avengers... PERIOD. In other words, don't read into it. It had nothing to do with any conjecture on how the Avengers movie was created or whether DC will follow a similar approach with JLA. It was a stand alone comment. No context outside of what I just said was intended.
