Yeah his big claim to fame is drawing Catwoman for DC...his self-published Broadsword Comics just don't cut it for me...

Julie Newmar. I remember Lee Meriweather a bit, but I never saw Earth Kitt.

On the old TV series, I couldn't wrap my young brain around Catwoman suddenly being black and no longer having a thing for Batman like Kitt did. In hindsight, she did a great job, and was more convincing crimininal mastermind, and she seems like a really cool lady, but Newmar was sexy, and her Catwoman seemed genuinely addled and a bit crazed. Quite a bit of dimension for that TV series.

Meriwhether was okay. Her Catwoman seemed a bit more abrassive and take-charge.

Pfeiffer MADE Batman Returns. Without her, that movie would have just been "Tim Burton Gone Wild".

I've never made it through Halle Berry's..."version". She looked very nice, but beyond that...PU.

Adrienne Barbeau did a great job as Catwoman on BTAS. She oozed sexual tension with Kevin Conroy. That's the best portrayl of Catwoman, really.

He must have grown up reading George Perez drawn books

Of the live action catwomen my fav is Julie Newmar. even in the 80's renion on the Will Shriner talk show she still ooosed sec appeal. Not that Eartha and Lee weren't georgeous women but Julie had "it"

In terms of the 66 TV series, Julie Newmar without a doubt. Lee Meriwether was okay, but I felt she would have been better as a 1960's Wonder Woman had that been pulled off.

                      Moviewise, Michelle Pfeiffer naturally.

In animation, Adrienne Barbeau on BTAS with second prize going to Melendy Britt on The New Adventures of Batman by Filmation in 1977.

No one else comes close to these ladies.

                      Cheers

For me, it was always Julie Newmar, but Eartha Kitt has a cool devilishness about her. I also like the way she rolls her Rs. Lee was OK, but not the best.

                          Holy DARTagnian, Batman!!

Two thumbs way up for Julie Newmar!
My favorite episode was when she turned Robin bad and she had her own sidekick - Leslie Gore. Holy heartbeat, Batman!

The a write in vote for Michelle Pfeiffer. I really didn't care for how her origin was presented in Batman Returns (Note to Hollywood: One villain per movie. Try it, it works. Trust me on this.) But once she made it to the other side - WOW!!

Gotta be honest - and no disrespect for her other work on Barnaby Jones- Lee Merriwether was a stand in for Julie Newmar. I really didn't see any chemistry between her Miss Kitka and Bruce Wayne. Not the same as Julie newmar.

I really didn't care for Eartha Kitt, either. She was hot and talented, but not Catwoman. At least for me.

To this day I have not seen halle berry as Catwoman. I would imagine that she is a better Storm than Catwoman...

I read Catwoman for awhile after Zero Hour. The Catfile was pretty good. Picked it up again with Will Pfieffer writing it - I've been scratching my head asking myself why.
