Well, supposedly according to some good sources it'll hit sometime Sunday evening. Looks like some uber-geeks have deciphered some codes released on their facebook page detailing the release. This has been a loooooong wait for an actual preview and not some teaser footage. WB needs this to be HUGE in the worst way and get a couple of months of buzz.

New Man of Steel trailer tomorrow night
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Tags: None -
Even if Man of Steel is huge, and I hope it is, WB still has nothing else up it's sleeve right now. Nolan effectively ended his version of Batman, so they really can't bring him back for the JL. Neither Ryan Reynolds nor the public has any interest in him reprising GL, the Flash is apparently DOA and Wonder Woman bombed before hitting TV.
There is just no way I see a DC cinematic universe anytime in the near future. Perhaps if Man of Steel is a hit, they could slowly reintroduce the other heroes in it's sequels. -
Warner head Jeff Robinov was quoted in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly that an announcement concerning the future of DC movies could be made within the next two weeks. Probably out in front of the Iron Man 3 opening.

Now they've had other such announcements, but I don't know if DC films are as dead as other rent reports have led us to bleedingcool.com mentioned some recent concept art for Flash http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/04/...harlie-hunnam/
It could be for JL film or even a solo Flash movie. Geoff Johns wrote a treatment for Flash and Shazam prior to the release of Green Lantern, so who knows.Last edited by madmarva; Apr 14, '13, 1:56 PM.Comment

It worked a lot better on the TV screen than on the computer screen to me.
Yeah it's Zod just like in Superman II, but Dark Knight basically remade the Joker's story like in the 89 Batman and it worked for many. Maybe Snyder can rethink the Zod story for a new generation and make it work, too.Last edited by madmarva; Apr 14, '13, 11:11 PM.Comment

If you look back over the past 60+ years (Zod wasnt introdced until the 50's) His story has evolved over the decades.
most recently, from Smallville, to the pre new 52, His mythology has changed. Yes he was still trying to take over Krypton, but instead of a coop de ta, revolution.
Honestly, I am hoping for the best.. but fearing the worst.. (IE Superman RETURNS)Comment

That dude's voice for Zod, is seriously lacking.
I understand an actor doesn't want to mimic someone else, but good lord, Stamp's delivery made Zod credible as a leader. You could believe he was a general.
I would have gone with Ian McShane. I know he's too old by studio standards, but he could sell the threat.Comment

I think society is past the age of Orson Wells style marketing. That had an odor of camp to it. Very risky marketing ploy. I guess the CGI crew will be working on specials effects until the eleventh hour? Kinda of like they did with the Lizard? Now is as good a time as any to borrow a line from the old school Zod... "Where is Superman?"Last edited by MIB41; Apr 16, '13, 6:49 AM.Comment
