Haw! What's weird about a lot of new films is that I can't shake the feeling I'm staring at really expensive b-movies. They're often lightly plotted, kinda jump scene to scene, have some interesting but strage scenes and stuff, and seem comprised of a lot of recycled/repurposed things. Just as the Wham-O air blaster made it's presence known a LOT in the 60's, it seems like paintball masks have become die rigueur for the superset recently.

I actually like the mask. It really adds to the "Who is the Winter Soldier?" mystery. The general public probably doesn’t know that Bucky is WS, so it’ll be a shock to Steve and the audience when the mask is finally removed. It’ll be one hell of a reveal for some people.

I think I like the IDEA of the mask more than the execution. This one looks kinda "generic baddie" to me.... like he should be gettin' sorted out by "Punch Rockgroin":
