    Hmmmm....

I think Iron Man will be the one that tanks, 'cos it seems like the third superhero film of any franchaise is the one that tanks. I think Wolverine will be the big hit 'cos after the last one NOBODY will have high expectations for it and as long as it doesn't COMPLETELY suck they'll be pleasantly surprised. I think the other two will just sort of happen.

Maybe there should be 2 questions:
Which one will make the most money?
Which one will be the best movie?

Right now I'm only looking forward to Iron Man. I like Shane Black and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with the concept.

Unless I hear great things about the other three when they come out I'll probably have no interest. I mostly end up renting superhero movies if my wife really wants to see them.

I don't care which one makes more money.

Quite interested in the Mandarin, but I won't be seeing any of these in the theatre.

Respectfully, I disagree with you. None of the MoS trailers have made me feel the way the IM3 trailers have made me feel. And some of the changes that MoS have done just leave a bad taste in my mouth. That said however, I will (probably) still go and see it in the theaters, just on the off chance that you're right.

Wolverine will be the one to tank. I hate to say it but Origins is in my top 10 worst movies list. I hope they pull it off this time of course.
I want Superman to do well.

With the momentum behind it, Iron Man 3 should be the front runner, but as off key and actionless as superman Returns was, it still outperformed Thor and wolverine. It wasn't a poorly made film; it just didn't have the action the comic book or general audience craved to garner repeat viewings, which is what drives the big box office producers.

With the action supposedly amped up in this version, I'm thinking MOS might squeak by IM3. I do think there is an appetite for an action-filled superman flick, although that might just be hopeful thinking.

IM3 looks like an interesting story, one that even comics have rarely touched on, the affect super heroing has on the man. Batman comicsv

To me, The Wolverine is the dark horse. The story inspiring the movie is an excellent one and James Mangold may actually make a really good film, not just your average action flick. However, if the film is rated R, which I doubt will be the case, it could cut into the box office.

Even with the Avengers wind beneath his winged helmet, I just don't see the Thor sequel doing a lot better than the original.

It wasn't a poorly made film; it just didn't have the action the comic book or general audience craved to garner repeat viewings, which is what drives the big box office producers. I also had issues with the way it portrayed Superman, but it wasn't bad, just off.

IM3 looks like an interesting story, one that comics have rarely touches on, the affect super heroing has on the man. I'm looking forward to it if only to see Ben Kingsley's take on the Mandarian and for more Pepper Potts. The scenes with her and Tony were really well done in the Avengers movie.

Even with the Avengers wind beneath his winged helmet, I just don't see the Thor sequel doing a lot better than the original's. it will be the true test if the appeal of the Avengers will transfer to other films.

                      All right then, new question:

Which one are you looking forward to the most?

I'm going to have fun with Iron Man. I think it will deliver what we want from the franchise. Heck, I liked Iron Man 2 fine, so I'm easy there. Kind of the same with Wolverine, although I'm not as jazzed about it.

MOS has farther to go with me. I expect MUCH from this movie. I hope it's the type of Superman movie we all want to see. I also hope it doesn't steer too far afield of what we love about the character and the concept.

So I guess, I'm looking forward to MOS most, but am also most concerned about it as well. I really hope I love it.

I'm looking forward to Iron Man 3 the most. Then Thor: TDW (from the information released, it sounds like it will be fantastic), The Wolverine third, and finally, Man of Steel.

I didn't really consider Thor this time, since it's a fall film. I'm kind of in the same boat as Iron Man, but a bit less jazzed. If it stays the course of the first one and offers some new angles, it will be a lot of fun. Again, no big expectations other than being entertained, and I expect we'll get that.

Hmmmm.... "looking forward to" is kind of strong language for me; but I'm most curious about Superman. I know what I'm going to get from the others, and I'm wondering what interpretation of Supes they're going to try this time.
