Avengers Toon Talk } Volume 6 DVD - The Last Set

    So,

I've never caught this on TV ..., I don't have Disney DX OR Whatever.
Volume 6 Came out on DVD A Few Weeks Back ..., And I picked it up.

To Me, this Toon Series with the Avengers is as Great AS The JLU And Timmi-verse, it's such a Shame It's not gonna Continue, and there were no Toys for the Series Either. I wanted a Hulk Pretty Bad.

I don't think Volume 6 is as Strong though ..., Because of the Absense of the Hulk ..., I think it Takes away from the Stories to me. I think They had Him Locked Up too Long, then when He was Free'd ..., Only to let him go off into the Sunset ..., so to speak ..., was Lame.

I dunno if I cared much for Antman Becoming YellowJacket either.
I didn't realize Yellow Jacket was such a Jerk. More of a Jerk than Hawkeye..., atleast Hawkeye is sorta Funny when He's a Jerk . I think Antman Shrinking, and Enlarging to Giantman, is Just a lot funner than Yellow Jacket Zapping People with a Shrink ray then throwing Bee's at them.

I think They Focused Far Too Much on the Serpent Society as the Main Villian Group, Too Many Repeat Episodes with them imo.

I really liked the Winter Soldier Arc ...
The Red Hulk Arc was decent, but it felt Rushed.
I love Ms Marvel, and Everything to do with Her on the Toon ...

& Loved Wolverine on the Toon ..., He was an Awesome Guest Star.

I'm sure I will re-watch these, as much as I do my JLU DVD's.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I'm going to have to catch up with these. I enjoyed the ones I've seen. The show really captured the core of the characters.

yeah, removing the Hulk for most of the season hurt the show a lot. Its too bad they feel they have to cross promote the movie now and feature that lineup in the new series. I didn't care for a lot of the modern stuff being included either like the lame new avengers or Winter Soldier. I liked it a lot better when it leaned toward the classics.

I'll agree with most of that statement ...
But With the Winter Soldier Arce, it also Brought Red Skull Back to the Frey, and He was in the White House Disguised, Throwing Hate Towards the Avengers,... So I liked that added Bit to the Winter Soldier Story.

I can see why ..., they didn't go with 70's Luke Cage Attire. lol.

Yeah, Code Red and Winter Soldier were both great episodes. It was great how they brought back Skull, as evil as ever. The scene when he's beating the crap out of Cap was very brutal and dark.

            >I didn't realize Yellow Jacket was such a Jerk.

They kinda went back to the ORIGINAL original version on the show. I was kinda glad he was so unlikable 'cos there's a tendency for cartoons to nice everybody up. Some folks are just pukes.

The only disappointment I've had from the show was when they used new designs for the Sleepers. I would have preferred a flying manta ray, walking milk jug and jet propelled skull. (Although they did a passable take on the last one.)

....and MAYBE that Red Ronin didn't come out to fight Skulltron....

I agree with the general concensus that these were good. I was hoping they would continue, I followed them as they came out and had a ball watching them. I did the same with Batman B&B, makes my Saturday mornings fun again. Netflix has these on streaming. If you guys haven't yet seen The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 it's really good. Based on Frank Millers comic.
