But they don't want to show Nazi's , look at Capt. America. Besides the Hilter actor no Nazi's in the movie. They just don't know what to do with her, no nazi's no gods so how do you tell an origin?

Hmmmm.... personally, I'd take more of the "twisted female socialite vs. liberated feminist warrior" theme as the crux of the movie featuring WW vs. Cheetah as the main conflicting characters, than the war-related or period-piece elements of the classic Wonder Woman origin. Not to say i would leave em out totally, but I'd keep that stuff to a minimum. I'd make references to a looming threat by Ares, definitely keeping the "gods" element intact as the source of WW's power... I don't care WHAT Thor has achieved at the box officw (without literal "gods")

Something that annoys me about something like this is if its going to be a period piece the clothing should reflect it.
