I recently cashed in some Amazon bucks on the Art of George Perez hardcover. I could have paid 35 plus through Amazon, but instead chose to go with one of the marketplace sellers used for 24.99. Yeah, I'm cheap like that.
It's no secret that George Perez is my favorite, so this book was a must have for me. It arrived this evening. It was a little banged up around the edges and the spine, but I didn't get this for collector's value, I got this to read and probably re-read many times. So, I open the first page and BAM! It's the limited edition autographed version, number 80 of 400. I know most would be doing an eye roll about now, but that was sure cool to find that little surprise. Made my night for sure. Sure it wasn't like opening an old dictionary and finding a Honus Wagner baseball card, but it made me smile a little bit. The way things have been going, I'll take all the positive energy and vibes I can get.
